It is an early producing open pollinated tomato that is indeterminate with potato leaves. It produces 4oz. dark red tomatoes in abundance. I have been picking at least one a day. The flavor is a traditional tomato flavor and is very juicy when fully ripe. I enjoy eating it fresh off the vine and I also have read that it is good for canning. It matures in 55 days and is suppose to perform well in cooler areas. I am pleased with this variety and will probably plant it again in the future. My seed source for this variety was Burpee. Have you ever grown Bloody Butcher, if so what was your experience?
