What pepper varieties will you be growing this year?
I'm just in the middle of writing up a pepper post as well. Looks like you are the exact opposite of me - I'm growing 10 varieties with 3 of them being the sweets. Not one variety matches those that are on your list, which goes to show how many wonderful varieties there are out there. The Chervena Chushka was on my list but didn't make it onto the grow list this year - I'll be interested to see how it does for you.
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret!
DeleteI have read many good things about Chervena Chushka, we shall see! That is funny that our lists are the opposite! I am a wimp when it comes to hot peppers. I do like a little heat to my Chili and Salsa.
I've grown chocolate beauty and Cubanelle in past and they're both good (one for eating and cubanelle for frying), and I've had Chervona Chushka from past living in Ukraine. Would love to see how Elephant Ear and Golden Marconi come out.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward growing Chocolate Beauty! That's interesting that you lived in the Ukraine. How long did you live there?
Delete18 yrs :)
